Channels in reports

Reports group these into channels such as ChatGPT Ads, ChatGPT answers, Other AI answers, Google Ads, Google search, LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn, Direct and Referral.

Tips for clean attribution

  • Use the same UTM naming everywhere, for example utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=abm-q4.
  • Make sure redirects keep the query string, or oppref and gclid are lost.
  • Some browsers hide the referrer. Those visits end up as Direct.
