Check the script is installed
How to confirm the IntentBid script is running, and what to do when Get started still says it is waiting for the first visit.
The quick check
- Open your website in a normal browser window and click through two pages.
- Reload Get started. The website script step shows Installed and the time of the last visit.
Still waiting? Check these in order
| Check | How |
|---|---|
| The script is on the live page | Right-click → View page source and search for ib.js |
| It is the right key | The ?k= value matches the one in Get started |
| Consent mode | With data-consent="required", nothing is sent until window.intentbidConsent() runs |
| Global Privacy Control | Browsers with GPC switched on are never tracked; test without it |
| The domain is allowed | Your page's domain is your website or one of your extra domains. See Allowed domains |
| Your IP isn't excluded | Visits from excluded office IPs are ignored. Try from a phone on mobile data |
| An ad blocker isn't blocking it | Try a private window without extensions |
| The tag was published | In Tag Manager or Webflow, changes need Publish |
| Your plan is active | Tracking runs on active and trialing plans |
Visits arrive but no companies
That is normal at first. Single-page visits wait 15 seconds before a lookup, and many visits come from home or mobile connections, which can't be identified. See Visits without a company.
