Install the website script
Copy your IntentBid script and add it to every page, directly or through Google Tag Manager, WordPress or Webflow.
The IntentBid script is one line of code that is unique to your account. It reads which page was viewed and where the visit came from, and sends that to IntentBid so we can identify the company behind it.
Where to find it
Open Get started → Website script (or Connections → Website script) and click Copy. It looks like this, with your own key:
<script src="https://intentbid.co/ib.js?k=YOUR_SITE_KEY" async></script>
Where to put it
Paste it just before the closing </head> tag on every page of your site, including pricing, demo and thank-you pages. async means it never slows down how your page loads.
Install options
| Your site | How |
|---|---|
| Any HTML site | Paste into the shared header template |
| Google Tag Manager | Custom HTML tag on All Pages. See Install with Google Tag Manager |
| WordPress | Theme header or a header-scripts plugin. See WordPress and Webflow |
| Webflow | Project settings → Custom code → Head code |
| Single-page app | Add once in the HTML shell; route changes are picked up automatically |
Waiting for consent
If your legal advice is to load the script only after consent, add data-consent="required" to the tag and call window.intentbidConsent() from your cookie banner when the visitor accepts. Visitors with Global Privacy Control switched on in their browser are never tracked.
Check it works
Visit your site in a normal browser window, then reload Get started: the step turns to Installed. See Check the script is installed.
